True North Health Services, or TNHS, was born out of a love for patients and seeing a void in the healthcare community for providers who seek to provide treatment and education for the PATIENT, not the insurance number crunchers.
Terri Myers has served as a healthcare provider for more years than she will allow us to divulge, with an eclectic and decorated career. Experiences as a hospital nurse and then as an advanced practice nurse in several specialties, primary care, the Department of Defense and as a VA contractor have developed Terri into a highly skilled diagnostic and treating provider with a passion for teaching. Terri firmly believes than a patient who is well educated in their own healthcare is a much healthier patient because when a person understands why a regimen is chosen, he or she will be much more likely to actively participate in his or her own well-being.
Terri is also very excited to train up the next generation of advanced practice nurses, and will continue her preceptor roll with future NP students. Prospective students are welcome to contact our office to learn more about our current and upcoming opportunities.
Michelle Spivey has served in many roles, and is an accomplished practice administrator. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management and has attended many continuing education conferences and classes, making her an excellent resource for staff and patients.
Michelle has also been involved in various non-profit organizations and events to help provide support for our nation’s heroes, elderly and youth. Should you, or someone you know, need assistance with navigating the murky waters of the insurance world, or are in need of assistance finding resources, please feel free to contact our office.
